Description:
A late Victorian citrine brooch, circa 1880. The oval-shape citrine, within an engraved foliate and scroll surround. Length 5.7cms. Weight 10.7gms.

Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Noticeable scratches and an area of discolouration to the reverse of the brooch.

Dents and some areas of discolouration to the surround, there are some splits and holes to the frame.

Citrine medium browny orange with a good saturation of colour, angular colour zoning to the citrine visible with the unaided eye.

Stone in fair condition, with some surface abrasion visible.
