Description:
A late 19th century Victorian 'Four Glass' mantel clock by Samuel Marti.

The clock has a gilded brass case with four bevelled glass sides and a door to the front and the back.

The enamel dial has an exposed escapement and black Roman numerals.

The French works are eight day, striking the hour and half hour on a bell, are stamped with the maker's mark for Samuel Marti and has a mercury compensating pendulum.
